A Year And A Day by Isabelle Broom

MoMo’s Book Diary eagerly recommends Isabelle Broom’s wonderfully emotion packed “A Year And A Day”.

Isabelle Broom has given us a captivatingly beautiful story set in Prague. Where the streets, people and architecture are seductively described in such a way that you can see, feel and taste the magnificent city.  I have not been yet but the way the author tells the tale leaves me wanting to visit much more than a guidebook ever would.

A Year and a Day focuses on Megan, Hope and Sophie as they spend a few days in the same hotel whilst visiting Prague.

I felt a strong connection to each of the characters, all of which had me captivated from the opening pages. It is impossible to say how spellbound I was while reading “A Year and a Day” and will be recommending it to everyone who will listen!

I would like to thank author Isabelle Broom,  publisher Penguin UK – Michael Joseph and NetGalley for the opportunity to read and review this novel prior to publication.

Synopsis

Three women. Three love stories. One city.

For Megan, visiting Prague with her friend Ollie is just business. Nothing more. Because if she admits the truth she might lose everything.

For Hope, this trip is a surprise treat from Charlie, her new partner. But she’s struggling to enjoy the city when she knows how angry her daughter is. And that it’s all her fault.

For Sophie, Prague has always been magical. And now she’s counting down the moments until her boyfriend Robin joins her in the city that holds so many of their memories . . .
