I like to think of this blog as my cloud bookcase—a place to store the memories of the books I’ve enjoyed, the characters who’ve stayed with me, and the stories that have lingered long after I’d turned the final page.
If you’ve found your way here, chances are we already have one thing in common – a love of books.
Since 2016, this little corner of the internet has been where I’ve shared my thoughts on the books I’ve read and the stories that have stayed with me. What began as a place to record my reading has grown into something much more meaningful, and I’m so pleased you’ve stopped by.
Reading has become much more than a hobby for me. During some of the most difficult chapters of my own life, books offered comfort, escape and something to look forward to each day. MoMoBookDiary grew from my love of reading into a place where I could share the stories that stayed with me.
Over the years there have been times when life became too busy or too challenging for me to read as much as I’d have liked, but books have always found their way back to me. Today, reading is part of my everyday life, and sharing that journey through MoMoBookDiary brings me genuine purpose and joy.
As the blog celebrates its tenth anniversary, I’m simply grateful to still be turning pages, discovering new stories, and sharing them with everyone who chooses to visit this little corner of the book world.
How I Review
Every review on MoMoBookDiary reflects my own personal reading experience. No two readers will ever experience the same book in exactly the same way, so my reviews aren’t intended to be the final word on a book. They’re simply an honest account of how a story resonated with me.
My reviews are always spoiler-free and focus on the overall reading experience rather than retelling the plot. I’m far more interested in sharing how a book made me feel, whether I connected with the characters, and what stayed with me after I turned the final page.
My hope is that every review gives you a genuine feel for the book and helps you decide whether it might be one you’d enjoy too.
What You’ll Find on MoMoBookDiary
The books I feature are a mixture of:
- Advance review copies from publishers, authors and publicists
- Blog tour books and cover reveals
- NetGalley titles
- Books I’ve purchased myself
- Long-overdue reads from my ever-growing TBR
MoMoBookDiary is a place to celebrate books I’ve enjoyed reading and feel happy recommending to others. If a book simply isn’t the right fit for me, I generally choose not to feature it on the blog. Reading is incredibly personal, and I’d rather use this space to share books that resonated with me and may resonate with other readers too.
Honesty & Transparency
Some books reviewed on MoMoBookDiary are provided free of charge by publishers, authors, publicists or services such as NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.
Receiving a review copy never guarantees a positive review and never influences my opinion. Every review reflects my genuine reading experience, regardless of how I obtained the book. Where appropriate, individual reviews include a short disclosure statement.
Frequently Asked Questions
📖 Are your reviews spoiler-free?
Yes. I always aim to keep my reviews spoiler-free. My focus is on the overall reading experience rather than revealing key plot points or twists.
📚 Do you review every book you read?
Yes. Every book I finish is reviewed as part of my own reading journey. The books featured on MoMoBookDiary are the ones I’ve genuinely enjoyed and feel happy recommending to other readers. If a book simply isn’t the right fit for me, I usually choose not to feature it on the blog.
📖 What formats do you accept?

Review timescales are discussed on a book-by-book basis to ensure each title receives the time and attention it deserves. I don’t offer guaranteed publication dates unless agreed in advance, although blog tour commitments will always be honoured.

Full reviews are published here on MoMoBookDiary and may also be shared on selected reader platforms, including Amazon, Goodreads, StoryGraph, NetGalley and BookBub, where appropriate. Reviews and blog posts are also shared across my social media channels.
