Welcome August! 📚

August always feels like a month of contrasts. Summer may still be in full swing, but in the book world there’s already a sense that autumn is just around the corner, with plenty of exciting new releases beginning to appear.

This month I’ll once again be sharing a mixture of blog tours, advance copies, recent purchases and the occasional backlist gem that’s been patiently waiting on my shelves. There are some wonderful books lined up over the coming weeks, and I can’t wait to share my thoughts as they make their way onto the blog.

Behind the scenes, August is also going to be a busy month as I put the finishing touches to something rather special. MoMoBookDiary celebrates its 10th anniversary in September, so I’m spending time refreshing parts of the blog and preparing a few updates to mark the occasion. The heart of the blog won’t be changing – it’ll still be all about sharing my reading journey and recommending books I’ve genuinely enjoyed – but I’m looking forward to unveiling a few little improvements next month.

Whether you’re here for crime fiction, historical novels, romance, cosy mysteries, family dramas, thrillers, or simply searching for your next great read, I hope you’ll find plenty of inspiration during August.
