🎂 Welcome to September!

September is a rather special month here at MoMoBookDiary. Ten years ago, in September 2016, I started this little cloud bookcase simply as a place to keep track of the books I was reading. I had no idea then that, a decade later, I’d still be here reading, reviewing and recommending books, one book at a time.

Over those ten years, MoMoBookDiary has changed and grown alongside me, but the reason it exists hasn’t really changed at all. I love reading, I love discovering stories, and I love being able to share the books I’ve enjoyed with other readers.

I’ve been spending some time behind the scenes giving the blog a bit of a 10th anniversary refresh. There are new ways to explore my reviews and bookcase, a little more about the person behind the blog, and a new page explaining how I approach reviewing. I’m also gradually working my way through the archives, tidying things up while keeping the original reviews themselves intact.

Looking back, I genuinely don’t know where the last decade has gone. An awful lot of life has happened alongside all those books, and I’m rather hoping the next ten years bring considerably more drama on the page and rather less of it in real life!

Somewhere along the way, my love of books even found its way into my name. When I had the opportunity to choose a new surname, it had to be something book-related, and Chapter seemed rather perfect. 📚

Ten years on, I’m still reading, still reviewing and still adding books to my little cloud bookcase (and, inevitably, my TBR!). I have no idea what the next ten years will bring, but I’m looking forward to finding out.
