My Review
This book gave me all the Hallmark Christmas movie vibes — but with the delicious bonus of added spice! If you love twinkling lights, snowy New York backdrops, department store magic, and a romance that makes your heart race as much as it makes you smile, then Suddenly Mine is going to be your festive obsession.
Merry was such a joy to read — she’s sweet, funny, and still carrying the scars of heartbreak. Christian had me from the start: the broody billionaire trying to keep his identity hidden while secretly falling for the most charming store greeter in New York. Together they were pure chemistry, and I adored the way Katie Evergreen mixed swoony, movie-worthy moments with heat that turned the pages fiery.
One thing I really liked is that although this is the final book in the Apex Billionaires Club series, you don’t need to have read the others to enjoy it. Each story focuses on a different member of the club, and this one stands perfectly on its own. But for those who have read the earlier books, there are little appearances and nods to the other characters that feel like catching up with old friends — just enough to make you smile, without leaving new readers confused.
There were times I laughed out loud, times I swooned like crazy, and one or two moments that made me a bit teary — but overall this book just made me happy. It’s fun, flirty, festive, and the perfect finale to the series.
