Jaimie is an English-sounding Welsh girl with an awkward-to-spell name. She lives in South Wales and enjoys writing, gardening, drinking tea and watching horror movies. She loves autumn and winter, and singing songs from musicals despite the fact she sounds like a dying hyena. She hates spiders and cheese & onion crisps. She spends far too much time online and owns too many pairs of boots. She has been writing for years, but has never before plucked up the courage to tell people. My Review

It is a short story, and an excellent example of what I look for in short stories. It was fast paced, the author sticks to the storyline which flows easily with a little bit of Christmas romance. I was impressed with Jaimie’s way of bringing in the lesson about being thankful for what you have and appreciating the things that really matter.

I read Jaimie’s ‘It’s A Wonderful Night’ and loved her writing style so much I quickly checked for other available books. North Pole Reform School – it just sounds so sweet and who could resist this cute cover image! This book definitely gets you in the mood for the festive season.
