After reading Borrowing Christmas earlier this month I was excited to see there was more to read about the town of Amor in New Mexico.  I quickly signed up for Kat’s newsletter.

This is a brilliant little read.  It is so sweet and clean and just lovely.  The thing you need to remember when reading this is that it is set BEFORE Borrowing Christmas – before Sam becomes mayor.  That took me a few minutes to work out (or maybe I’ve just read too many books this week!) but once I had everyone in my head I knew who was who.

I have to say Zoe’s brother, Clark, sounds totally yummy – and he loves dogs which makes him even better – if that is possible.

Keep writing Kat, I need to know about Amor…..

Deciding to have New Mexico as the setting for the series was an easy choice, considering its amazing sunsets, blue skies and tasty green chili.  That, and she currently lives there with her husband and two cute kids. They hope to one day add a dog to the family, but for now, the native animals of the desert will have to do. Though, Kat wouldn’t mind ridding the world of scorpions and centipedes. They’re just mean.
