MoMo’s Book Diary loved Sheryl Browne’s “Learning to Love” and happily recommends this as an excellent heartwarming read!!
I can’t recommend Learning to Love by Sheryl Browne highly or often enough.
I loved the rollercoaster of emotions the author leads us on page after page.
The way Sheryl Browne warmly brings each character to life with emotion which grows throughout the book. Alongside romance there is heartache, a touch of mystery, some humour and continual gripping hope that Andrea will be able to get her life back on track following the fire which destroyed her family home.
I laughed, cried and ate my way through a huge chocolate bar before reaching the thrilling conclusion (at 4am).
I would like to thank the author, Sheryl Browne, for the opportunity to read and review Learning to Love. I can’t wait to read the others.
Synopsis
Sometimes help comes from the most unlikely places …
Living in a small village like Hibberton, it’s expected that your neighbours help you in a time of need. But when Andrea Kelly’s house burns down, taking all her earthly possessions with it, it’s the distant and aloof Doctor David Adams – the person she would least expect – who opens his door not just to her, but to her three kids and slightly dotty elderly mother as well.
Andrea needs all the help she can get, dealing with aftermath of the fire and in the suspicious absence of her husband, Jonathan. But, as she gets to know David and his troubled son, Jake, she begins to realise that maybe they need her help as much as she needs theirs …
