About The Author

Amanda M Clarke was born in Lincolnshire UK of Irish parents and continued to travel around the world while her father was in the RAF. From the age of six onwards and during the many years her father worked for the European Space Agency (ESA) Amanda’s fascination for humanity’s exploration of Space and “what makes people tick’ became ignited and she went on to read philosophy at Exeter University then to train as an osteopath at the British College of Osteopathic Medicine. Amanda ran her own osteopathic practice in Lewes, East Sussex for ten years before moving to Essex, where she now lives with her husband Ron and their little cat Spacee.

Amanda is excited by what drives people to survive and overcome adversity. She is convinced that there is intelligence ‘out there in the universe’. Divine Imperfection, her debut novel, an erotic, futuristic, psychological thriller embraces this idea. Her next novel hopes to explore humanity’s colonisation of Mars – not focusing on ‘space age technology’ but the psychology and emotional evolution of a new communtiy dealing with the challenges of what it means to be human.
